Holiday Parties, Remember Those?

After a brief holiday party hiatus, this season marks the return of in-person festivities for many organizations. End-of-year events have long been one of my favorites to plan - an inherently joyous time of year, it’s a time for reflection and celebration of the past year outside of the office with plus ones!

Here in New York City, we have no shortage of spectacular venues - not to mention it’s the time of year when the city shines the brightest with a certain magic in the air. This dreamy setting coupled with the right venue and vendors will have your organization close out the year on a high note. Sharing 5 of MZE’s preferred venues for your next holiday gathering, and I’d love to work with you to bring it to life!

Little Owl The Townhouse

Built in 1910, this iconic West Village townhouse is a charming location for a 50 guest or fewer event. Having multiple levels allows for layout flexibility, as well as a separate area for cocktail hour and a seated dinner.

Beauty and Essex

With 5 distinct spaces for groups of 12-550, Beauty and Essex is one of the most versatile venues in Manhattan. Sitting behind a functioning pawn shop, guests will be greeted with a one-of-a-kind entrance upon arrival. If you want a sleek downtown spot with top-notch food and drinks, this is the venue for you.

Aspire at One World Observatory

If you’re looking for a blank slate to make your own, look no further! With 9,000 square feet of space on the 102nd floor of One World Trade Center, Aspire offers a minimalist environment with unparalleled views.

Brooklyn Winery

One of my favorite holiday parties I’ve ever planned took place at this boutique winery in the heart of Williamsburg. Besides the beautiful setting, their in-house food and beverage program is truly outstanding, and is perfect for groups of 200 or fewer.

501 Union

Built in 1916, 501 Union served in the restoration of classic cars and was constructed with a nod to its industrial roots and Art Deco era. This is a great venue for larger groups up to 300, and allows for a turn-key experience, as well as the opportunity to add your own touches.
