Entertaining in The Hamptons

Summer is here and events are back! Whether you’re planning an impromptu dinner party, milestone celebration or wedding - I’m sharing a few of my preferred venues in The Hamptons for your next gathering.

Gurney’s, Montauk

In Montauk, it doesn’t get much better than Gurney’s. With several spaces to choose from, Gurney’s is ideal for any event ranging from a private dinner at Scarpetta Beach to an oceanfront wedding overlooking the Atlantic.

The Roundtree, Amagansett

Surrounded by 2 acres of Amagansett farmland, The Roundtree is the ideal wedding venue for couples who prefer an all-inclusive experience. The property is perfect for an outdoor ceremony and reception, with plenty of space for up to 250 guests.

LongHouse Reserve, East Hampton

LongHouse Reserve is a 16 acre reserve and sculpture garden featuring pieces from Yoko Ono and Willem de Kooning. The expansive and lush grounds make an idyllic setting for a rehearsal dinner, wedding or other special event.

Tutto Il Giorno, Sag Harbor

Upon arriving at Tutto Il Giorno, you’re immediately transported to the Italian Riviera. No detail is spared at Donna Karan’s fabulous restaurant with locations in both Sag Harbor and Southampton. The outdoor patio is designed for optimal al fresco dining and the indoor space is plush and airy, making this a great setting for a private cocktail or dinner party.

Wölffer Estate Vineyard, Sagaponack

Set on 55 acres of meticulously kept vineyards, Wölffer can host special events for 50-175 guests, as well as private tastings for groups fewer than 10. Aside from their incredible wine, it’s tough to beat the sweeping views, service and overall experience.

Topping Rose House, Bridgehampton

Circa 1842, Topping Rose House is brimming with history. There are several event spaces on the property, accommodating 60-150 guests for all types of gatherings. The Restaurant at Topping Rose House run by Jean-Georges, can also be bought-out for events.

Calissa, Watermill

Calissa brings Mykonos to the Hamptons and can host private celebrations for 10-300 guests. With live music on weekends, you can seamlessly transition from dinner to late night lounging. Their 6 event spaces on the property work well for any and all gatherings ranging from engagement and birthday parties to weddings.

Parrish Art Museum, Watermill

Founded in 1898, the Parrish Art Museum has been a vital cultural presence on the East End for generations. Acclaimed for its architecture and design, it’s one of the most sought-after locations in the Hamptons for private and corporate events for up to 300 guests.
