Dating back to 1817, the General Theological Seminary is a historic oasis in Chelsea, a neighborhood once owned by Clement Clarke Moore who famously wrote “Twas the night before Christmas.” Fast forward to present day, I had the joy of designing and planning this marvelous and modern black-tie wedding. A cohesive design scheme was created by contrasting the venue’s traditional and rich tones with brightness and a garden-like atmosphere. An earthy and neutral base palette was layered with whimsical shades of pastels throughout the celebration.
